:: [Crappy] Indecent Proposal ::
The man noticed us overly attentive stare and after a few exchanging few smiles he walked directly toward us.
Before I could offer my sincere apologies for so rudely staring, he leaned over and whispered to me, "I'll do anything, absolutely anything, that you want me to do, no matter how kinky, for RM20.00……on one condition." (There are always conditions.)
Flabbergasted, then I asked what the condition was. The man replied, "You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words." (controlling, huh?)
I considered his proposition for a moment, then slowly removed a RM20 bill from my purse, which I pressed into his palm along with my address. I looked deeply into his eyes, and slowly, and meaningfully I said….
"Clean my house."

:: The Rest is Still Unwritten ::
:: Achtung Baby! ::
I was flipping thru my brother’s old issue of Top Gear and I found a tagline of an Alfa Romeo that says "It’s not the destination, it’s the journey that counts".
Something belted my thinking. It is a cliché, life is a journey, and the important thing is the traveling upon the journey, not about arriving at the destination. We might only be able to guess whats gonna happen at our destination, or pray by the Grace of God, but it is the journey, not the destination that it is important to focus our energies upon. But what about our target? Arent we suppose to set a goal in life? What happen to those targets? Arent they as important as the journey itself?
I may say that it is accurate, that life chews you up and spits you out, with absolutely no reward guaranteed.
If we stop and get out and look around, talk to someone, explore the streets, new neurons will form in our brains, we will have new experiences to draw upon. And many of these new experiences will not even be pleasant while we are experiencing them. In a for-the-moment kinda way, they might seem completely worthless and upsetting. Yet, when we have the chance to look back on the journey passed, the life lived, and compare it to the journey as a whole, we can begin to see patterns in the seeming bedlam, we can begin to understand why this bad thing happened, why this uncomfortable moment had to be, and the hard things can be seen as way marks on our journey.
I read one of myspacers post yesterday and he did mention that how human always complain of their angst and misfortune while failed to see that there are lots of people out there who are less fortunate.
I see life, as shaping us, not chewing us up, life is forming us, not destroying us.
So there is a real hope to keep getting up each time we are knocked down. It is not just because we are stubbornly thick-headed (although sometimes this might be all we have), but because there is a bigger reason, we know we are upon a journey, that there is a shape to the journey, and that there is a real reason behind the life we are living, and there is always hope that there will be more good experiences, even while realizing that there will always be the negative side of the journey.
Aight, nuff with brain orgasms… I need to get back to work. Till then. Ciao.

:: Miserable Way to Look Cool ::
Neeways... where was I? Owh yeah, it was raining all day last Sunday and I figured I could leave the house and see a movie, or stay in and watch one. I was still a little unwell, so decision made – stay in and watch movie. Called up my cuzzo and asked if hes not doing anything and that he could accompany me watching movie at home. Of course he would never say no to me.
Me: Movie you have in mind?
Cuzzy: August Rush or Enchanted?
Me: Saw August Rush and Enchanted with Elly. I bought two new movies. So, Transformers or Terminator? *wrinkling nose*
Cuzzy: Do you have Enchanted? *grins*
Me: Yeeeeah! But Enchanted is soooo last year la.
Cuzzy: But Mila, Enchanted has McDreamy *batting eyelashes*
I succumbed to it. With cans of diet coke a bowl of fried keropok ikan and a small bowl of chili sauce. Pull the couch closer to the tv set… with our feet on mom's spanking new Ottoman, he held the sauce and I, the keropok… my left arms and his right arms were crossing to dip in each other’s.
The first time I watched it (Enchanted), I thought they might take it in a satirical, princes aren’t real, get over your fairy tale, forget the happy ending, and move on direction. Because I am a complete idealist, obviously. But this is a Disney movie and Disney makes it billions off of selling an ideal of castles and white knights and glitter and doves in heart-shaped flower arrangements. I don’t feel as if I’m spoiling things by saying that the movie ends exactly how you think it will.
Btw….. Did I mention that McDreamy was in the movie?
“I feel so sorry for him, did he not read the script before he signed the deal?” Cuzzy said with his mouth full of keropok.
This was when Alyssa woke up from her sleep and came to us and slipped herself in between us.
That weekend, like any other weekend, I was thinking of having a marathon of Grey’s Anatomy Season 3 which I still have five or six episodes left to watch. And like any other weekend too, I procrastinated it again.
Miss procrastination I am.
p/s: I have no reason for having 'Miserable way to look cool' for the title of this post. I just dig the title. Its actually a title of Crestfallen's song... Terima kasih encik encik crestfallen ye...

:: Foolish Game ::
As I walked away, I was approached by a salesgirl dressed in a black shirt and pants. She was... a mysterious one with brown eyes and careless hair. She was... fashionably sensitive, but too cool to care. But I then thought she might just use me for her career advancement. No, I did not believe a RM499 Polo Ralph Lauren handbag is a "steal." I told her-- maybe I'm not ready to be committed to that bag after only knowing it for five minutes. I've only just started shopping and there are so many other things to try on. And besides, the Fendi bag that I got from e-bay had just arrived. Please leave me be Miss Sales Representative, this relationship of us could never work.
So as I leave empty handed, I remember why I hate going to the mall. But by the following weekend, I forgotten all about my 'bad experience' and went right back to shopping malls again.
