I
envy
the way leaves
know
exactly when
to fall
from the branches,
and
when
to come back
in the spring.

:: Indifference ::
And I - my head oppressed with puzzles- said "people cling to their hatred so stubbornly that they started to stalk the people they hate."
And he, the boyfriend, said to me "The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference."
He added again "We just don't bother to care."

:: R.I.P ::
Losing someone you love is like reading a good book for the first time. You devour each page with such intense emotions, filling its contents into every inch of your being.The ambiguity both confuses and amuses you. But as your eyes travel from sentence to sentence and your fingers flip page by page, and your palm gripping the sturdy binding, you find yourself closer and closer to the end. You know its coming. And you will never read the book the same way again.
The lady who cleans the office lost her husband to a cardiopulmonary arrest about a month ago.
It has already been a month, she's still grieving. She has lost her everyday thing. She came in to work the other day and I handed her some money that the colleague and I managed to collect.
Upon handing her the envelop, she wrapped her arms around my back, slowly she broke down and cry. That painful cry, like there's a hole in your heart and no one else could fit in like it bleeds every time you breathe in.
My hijab was wet with her tears and mine.
