.... feel like you want someone to give you a real tight hug, like break-rib-cage-tight, whenever you're feeling down, and tell you that everything's gonna be okay that even the darkest night will end and hand you a cup of tea, and a few million ringgit?
Have you ever?

:: Red Cherry Lipstick ::
I put on a red cherry lipstick today.
One of the specialist was on the elevator with me this morning. Just me and him, and out of the thing he could say to me was 'kenapa lawa sangat hari ni?'
I replied 'selama ni saya tak lawa ke?'
He replied back 'nampak kemas hari ni.'
I couldn't help but to ask again 'selama ni saya selebet ke?'
We went quiet. And boy! That was awkward.
And when I got into the office and told my mateys about it, we all agree its the red cherry lipstick.

:: Haven't Come Up with a title yet ::
"Almost a decade ago, I stared at a friend in utter astonishment when she refused to tell another friend that we saw her husband walking with a PYT. Riled up in the spirit of sisterhood, I questioned her rationale. Coolly, she said, 'I am not going to be the bearer of ill tidings and I surely don't want her to cry on my shoulder. It would be an epic drama.' I did not appreciate her attitude at the time. How time flies and how perspective changes with life experience. Presently, I agree with her action unanimously. It boils down to one thing, kindness."
Kak Ina has that on her FB status today.
My comment:
I certainly do not want to be the one who spill the spoil beans out. That poor soul will certainly could not look at the husband the same way once she found out even though she decided to forgive him. Kan? And the husband even though he regretted it to his bone marrow, his truth will always become questionable.Justly, people make mistake. Commit sins. But it is not something for people to brag especially to tell other people about it. Its a private thing.
Privacy is like eating or breathing, it is a necessity, one of those life's basic requirements. Everybody has a secret they would pray hard to be always remain untold. It's either we are trusted with one or its our own juicy stuff.
All I'm saying is, if we see or hear about someone else committing a sin, we should always try to ignore it. Instead of spreading it, we should hide it and keep it a secret.
It is reported that the Prophet (pbuh) has said:
Whosoever covers (the sins of) a Muslim, Allah covers (his sins) on the Day of Judgment.
(Reported by Bukhari). It goes the same with praying for other people's misery. Sometimes people took the most pathetic measure to make themselves feel better.
There was once a drunkard by the name of Abdullah who was brought to our Prophet (pbuh) and the Prophet (pbuh) ordered that Abdullah should be whipped. And one of those men said Abdullah should be cursed for his unrequited habits of drinking. And may Allah put him to shame.
But the Prophet (pbuh) said:
Do not curse him, all I know that he loves Allah and His messenger. Do not be a help to a Shaytaan against your brother.
(Reported by Bukhari).
What we learnt from the story of Abdullah, is that, no matter what a person does, as long as its not something idolatry, he should not be denied. And we are in the wrong if we pray for Allah against him.
Bottomline, stop damaging other people with our hatred. It's enough that we hate the person but its better if we just let it go.

:: Love the way you lie ::
Humans have evolved to lie well, and no doubt you’ve seen
the social lubrication at work. In many
cases, we might not think of it as a true lie well perhaps a ‘white lie’ occasionally, the omission of a sensitive
detail here and there, false encouragement of others when we see no benefit in
dashing someone’s hopes, and the list goes on.
As I mentioned on my FB stats couple of days back that I sugar coat truths so it doesn’t
sound bitter, I actually do, if those are considered lies, then those lies
I tell are meant for the purpose of sparing people discomfort, for these are the lies that most often tempt me.
And they tend to be the only lies that good people tell while
imagining that they are being good in the process.
I remember a friend’s story.
Once he was using his mobile while driving and when he saw a traffic
officer he threw the phone away and drove panically, the officer stopped him few
meters away and asked if he was using his mobile, he startled, and the officer
had to ask again if he was using his mobile while driving, he was contemplating whether to lie or to tell the truth. But
he chose to admit. He did. And the police issued him a ticket and said
if he pays within a month he will only have to pay 70 ringgit instead of 200
ringgit (I can’t quite remember the figure).
The exact feeling he had then was happy. Happy that he didn't have to lie and
regretting it afterward. It may take care of the present, but it has no
future. He said, big or small, a lie is a lie. Tell a lie once and all your truths become questionable.
One of my omission of truths (that’s how I like to put it) is
that I am not being frank to my parents about my present. It breaks me up. It does, because if I tell the truth, I don’t
have to remember anything. And because
one lie will lead to another. But if I am to tell the truth, there are lots of consequences to bear on to. One thing will lead to another as well.
"Truthfulness is one of the pillars on which the moral survival of the world depends. It is the foundation of praiseworthy characteristics, the foundation of prophethood, the result of taqwah."
The Creator of mankind, told us in the 96th chapter of His Quran; "Lies, aggression and hostility come from the prefrontal lobe of the brain (behind the forehead)". Fourteen hundred years before Sigmund Freud existed.

What do I do?
At this moment I have that BEP song stuck in my head. Annoying giler I tell you.
