:: Tuhan tidak kasi apa yang kita mahu, Dia kasi apa yang kita perlu. ::

Upon reading Yusri's (a good friend of mine) blog on Myspace today. It got me thinking, how funny life has treated us. Yusri blogged about a friend of his who has been with a guy for many years but knowing the guy is going to marry another girl (simple case of being engaged to someone else). The guy wanted to marry her in Golok and yada yada yada... do the necessary things and leave out the unnecessary. Understanding the fact that many heart's will be broken, and words unspoken. I can understand her need of lingering around a man who is obviously 'cannot' marry her. I use the word 'cannot' as I am sure if he can, he would have married her yonks ago.

What caught my attention was a quote made by one of the reader. It says, 'Tuhan tidak kasi apa yang kita mahu, Dia kasi apa yang kita perlu'. I couldnt say it any better. The quote was right on spot.

God doesn't send you the people you want. Instead, He gives you the people you need. To teach you, to hurt you, to love you and to make you exactly the way you're meant to be.

Allah doesnt give people more than they can burden and sometimes, God's greatest gift is an unanswered prayer.

  2. a friend of mine once said... after terserempak with an old flame.... i thank god for unanswered prayer.. because she surely wasn't the same person... so i guess you are right.. god does not give us what we wanted because sometimes we ourselves do not know what we really want... usually we wanted it because someone else is having it... plus i think there is a country song entitle "thank god for unanswered prayer" huhuhu
