:: The Wedding Plan [Vol. 2] ::

Where were we?  Oh yeah the wedding theme, I’m not done with that yet... My initial idea is to have a traditional wedding but he doesn’t agree with it.  He wants it to be a country wedding.  A country wedding?  So I had to ask my best friend, Googlina.  Guess what 'she' said?   A country wedding equals a horse ride.  Where can I find horses in Kuantan?  So he said to drop the horse but have lotsa flowers.  So its like a garden wedding.  Senang cerita!  But if it’s a country wedding, shouldn’t it be more colors chipping in?

So today, I’ve started with the scrapbook – for easier reference.  I still remember having a scrapbook when I started having the idea of building a house 3 years back.

And today I bought majalah ‘Pengantin’.  And yes, I’m laughing at myself.

Mommy has started with list of guests.  His guests would not be as many as mine.  Which he found a little bit annoying.

Food wise.  My aunt owns a catering business (Abu, thanks anyways for the offer) and she is more than willing to help.  I like anything and everything traditional.  Even when it comes to food.  I like going to a wedding reception where they serve nasi and lauk kampong.  Like lemak nenas ikan masin, or daging masak kawah, with sambal belacan and various ulams.  But the family would prefer nasi baryani, briyani, berani ummmm how do you spell that?  So I don’t have the priority to decide on that.

Since we have agreed on the dates.  I’ll be visiting the printing company tomorrow.  Time to choose the cutest card on earth.

  3. Country wedding? Yeah, you're right.. I think they call it "Garden Wedding" here. Lots of flowers. Ribbons. Gazebo. Candles or lamps (if it's in the evenings). So romantic...
