Pink is thought to have a calming effect. One shade known as "drunk-tank pink" is sometimes used in prisons to calm inmates. Sports teams sometimes paint the opposing teams’ locker room pink to keep the players passive and less energetic.
Ask any girl out there and they would give a positive respond to pink.
Albeit calming effect, I don’t quite fancy pink even though pink is commonly associated with girls (men do wear pink too I'm sure *wink*). I have few pink baju kurung that I hardly wear to work. I don’t know, pink just doesn’t suit my fair complexion I reckon. I look pale in pink. But last Saturday I bought myself a pink lipstick. A bright pink and its called 'Backstage Pink 554'.
When I applied it on the back of my palm it looked nice but when I have it on my lips, it looks kinda showy. I had it on my lips this morning. As I was driving to the office I can’t help but to notice my lips on the mirror at the back of the sun visor. Then when I was talking to people, I been having this feeling that people are staring at my lips and somehow my lips distract the conversation. I had it removed before zohor ablution. Imma stick to sheer color saje lah.
So not all pink is tranquil. It can do discomfort to others like it did to me.

is there such thing as pink lipstick? i thought the lips are already pink?? =/

ReplyDeletePink? Even when i was a baby, my mom never pakaikan i baju pink... i like to see people wearing pink but if kalau dah over i rasa mcm nk lempar je setin cat calor lain pd org yg over pakai pink itu... kejam kah i, mila?
