It is not easy to take the time to
put your wants aside
and think about the person receiving the gift. Especially when you're just 7.
But Alyssa is that kind of person. She'd sacrifice her daily allowances just to buy gifts. Since the incident on mother's day, where she showed her 'compassion' in giving presents, I knew then, that I would be receiving a lot from her.
So, I got this pink mechanical pencil for my birthday from her. She knows that I like to write in pencils. For easy alterations.
Thank you baby. I love you so much.
I'm a year older!!!

Time: Last Night | Venue: Bedroom
"Mama, I want to buy you present for your birthday tomorrow. Mama nak apa?"
"Thank you but I don't want anything baby."
"Alaaaa. Kita nak belikan mama hadiah. Cakaplah nak apa?"
"Wait, I do want something. I want you to wake up without much trouble to school every morning. Without making me angry. That would be the best present ever."
"Itu bukan hadiah!!!"
"Ada duit ke nak beli kan Mama hadiah? Where would you get the money from?"
"Mama bagi la extra tomorrow so I can buy something from the 'koperasi'."
-----
I rolled my eyes.
This is like buying my own present.

:: WhatsApp Witchu? ::
You know what I found aw-suhm about WhatsApp Messenger besides creating groups, send each other unlimited images, video and audio media messages? It also shows people when was the last time you were seen online and the time is kinda accurate too.
For instance, you did not reply your girl/boyfriend's or your parents' texts (through the standard communication protocols) for some valid reason. And he or she thought that you were too busy, to even reply to him or her, but menially, you were 'last seen' on WhatsApp also for some valid reason.
WhatsApp with that?
So guys and girls... If you were thinking of 'omitting the truth' to your other half or your parents, you also outta think of a 'valid reason' to answer when you are questioned.
Lalalalalala.
You must be thinking of uninstalling your WhatsApp now aren't you?

:: Why the Chicken Cross the Road? ::
I logged on to my facebook yesterday and found that the profile has changed to Timeline automatically starting, well, yesterday.
There's no freedom of preferences in this world I suppose. Inevitably.
Not even in Burger King can you change your soda to Ribena. Actually you can, but you gonna hafta pay extra for that. In other words, our choices is govern by the rules and regulations, a.k.a no freedom of choice.
I wonder if there's any tomorrow where chickens can cross roads and not having their motives questioned.

:: Call Me Cheap But I'm Not Gonna Buy You ::
Was wandering at Ariani's boutique yesterday with my SIL. We weren't looking for anything in particular but since we haven't bought any hijab for Hari Raya, owh! by the way, I still haven't bought Baju Raya and suprisingly Raya is in a few days. Well, the thing is, for this Raya, Abah bought him a 'Kurta' to wear on first hari raya. Nice sand color. And my brother bought the same Kurta. Same color as well. And my SIL bought a kain pasang the same color as the Kurtas. And sent it to the tailor. And when my mom saw my SIL's kain pasang, she fell in like with it and bought her a pair and sent it to her tailor. She bought Alyssa a baju that matches their color.
All these done about a month ago maybe two - without telling me. But I could say it's my fault too because all these while, I'd prefer a ready made baju than buying kain pasang and have it sewed. And my mom knew this all along. I been looking at every nook and cranny for a matching baju for almost a month and it's impossible to buy a kain pasang now as there's no tailor in Kuantan would want to accept it and it is next to impossible to find a baju at this time of the month that matches their color. Seems like I'll be wearing a different color. I'll be insanely weird. But..... I'd be standing out from the crowd. *Grins*.
Okay, where was I, owh! yeah Ariani. So we were in Ariani. We saw hanged hijabs with nice sewed beads at one corner of the boutique and few people where flipping checking em hijabs. I looked up. The price was shown on top of the shelf. I was so sure I saw RM675.00. But I gotta ask my SIL, if its RM67.50?
Few girls who were flipping and 'testing' this particular hijabs heard me. They looked up for the price tag just above their head. They put the hijab back on those hangers. And one of them said to me, 'boleh bayar installment kereta sebulan nih.'
Yeah! That expensive for a hijab.
I dunno anyone that would wear a RM600++ hijab. Do you?
